Welcome to Tangle Sint Maarten!

Welcome!
This space is all about Zentangling tangles. Although for a while, as I move closer to becoming a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), this spot will show only my Zentangles, I hope to change that when I can provide the people of Sint Maarten Zentangle classes for meditation and relaxation, as well as for the sheer joy of creating art when one is convinced they are not artistic. Take it from someone who knows: Me!
Ten months ago, I started an internet search. I was looking for some form of meditation that didn't force me to keep still with my eyes closed. I need to be doing something while I contemplate or my concentration breaks and the anxiety rises.  About nine months ago (today is 26 January, 2017), I picked up my first book on Zentangle: One Zentangle a Day, by Beckah Krahula. Mostly I was intrigued that Zentangle insisted you need no artistic ability--all you have to be able to do is know how to draw a line, a circle, and an S-shaped curve. OK. I can do that, I thought. So I ordered the book and started my journey, even without the recommended special artist tiles and Micron™ pen. It took me a lot longer than six weeks the book promised, but I felt better about myself, had more time, and was generally happier.
Come along with me as I make my way through the wonderful world of  Zentangle!
